With Paleo the Ingredients Matter

Eating and preparing Paleo is not just the “ingredient”, it is the “right ingredient”. Our ancestors did not have grain fed beef finished in CAFO lots, or chickens raised in cages and fed antibiotics and hormones. They ate vegetables which grew in mineral rich soil, not depleted from over-farming. They did not use pesticides and chemical fertilizers. They ate seasonal foods available to them, not flown or trucked in from all over the planet all year round.

So, when preparing paleo recipes, you should use grass fed beef, game meats, free range pasture raised chickens or other varieties of poultry, eggs from pasture raised chickens, organic fruits and vegetables and wild caught fish. Sea salt is preferred.
